Week 3 – Artist Conversations- Josh Vasquez

Josh Vasquez had his own art show in the Max L. Gatov Gallery. When I interviewed him to see what his art was to represent he told me that it’s “life and death.” By viewing his art, I saw (in my opinion) how death could be beautiful. He had quite a few art works displayed for us to see that day. He had roses scattered on the floor, paintings on the wall with were roses and skulls mixed together and other paints that showed how death could be seen beautiful. I believe that Josh is a very interesting artist and would recommend anyone to view his work.
